STE@M Workshop

We are excited to announce a special opportunity for students aged 8 to 12 years old.
The Friends of Loomis Library & Loomis Basin Chamber of Commerce are partnering with a local tech startup PodPi and non profit Kids Electronics Lab 2.0 to test a product that’s being developed for the market. Check out PodPi for more information. The developer has been hosting and creating STE@M programs for kids through the Hacker Lab for several years.
We are hosting a group of 20 kids for a fun, hands on STE@M based workshop at the Loomis library on Sat, Oct 10th. Online registration is required and space availability will be first come – first serve. The only requirement is each participant needs to have filled out a library survey.
This is a free event and tentatively scheduled between the hours of 10am to 2pm. If there is high demand, we’ll split it into two sessions:
10am -12pm & 12pm – 2pm to accommodate more kids.
