SUMMARY:Mother's Day Store
DESCRIPTION:K-5 students shop during their scheduled library time for a present for their mothers or mother figures.  All items for the store are donated.  This means you have a good reason to start your spring cleaning!  We are accepting new or gently used items that any mother would love.  Remember\, one mother’s donation could be another mother’s treasure!  Any items can be brought into the office during the months of March and April.  In addition to treasure\, we would also love new or gently used gift wrapping supplies – mostly gift bags\, tissue\, and small gift boxes.  All money collected from the Mother’s Day store is donated to Acres of Hope\, a local center serving homeless women with children.

Naturally\, homemade are the best\, but we appreciate whatever you can manage. \nWe will have a table set up near the gym and will also be on the lookout for those of you coming through the drive-thru bearing cookies. \nNote: Shoe boxes\, plastic food containers or other some other type of hard-walled container work great for packaging and transporting and do a better job of keeping cookies intact than zip-lock bags. \nWe also need a handful of volunteers to assemble and distribute the platters.
